The 2005 World Technology Awards (evening, November 15th)

The 2005 World Technology Awards were held on the final night of the 2005 World Technology Summit?held November 14th and 15th, 2005, in San Francisco. The World Technology Awards gala ceremony on November 15th was held in the rotunda of the historic San Francisco City Hall.

Nominations were made by current WTN members, from within each respective category, in late 2004/early 2005. All nominees were then contacted and asked to provide additional background information about themselves and their most innovative work. WTN members then voted in the period before the 2005 World Technology Summit, with the appropriate announcements of the winners and finalists (the newest WTN members) made at the Awards Gala Ceremony on the conclusion of the Summit.
