The World Technology Awards

The World Technology Awards have been presented annually since 2000 to the outstanding innovators from each sector within the technology arena for innovative work of the greatest likely long-term significance -- both as a way to honor those innovators, and as a vetting mechanism to determine the newest WTN members. Current individual members of the WTN make the nominations (we accept no unsolicited nominations) and also vote their preferences among the member-nominated pool. The Awards are announced each year in a gala ceremony at the close of the annual World Technology Summit.

Judging for the 2005 World Technology Awards is now complete. Click here below to see the list of those individuals and organizations that have have been selected as the newest Fellows (for individuals) and Corporate Members (for organizations) of the World Technology Network. Each of them is eligible to be named the Winner of the 2005 World Technology Award in their category at the Awards ceremony at San Francisco City Hall at the conclusion of this year's World Technology Summit.

Since we accept no unsolicited nominations for the Awards, and since this year's voting is already complete, we suggest the following:

(INDIVIDUALS) If you wish to increase the chances of exposure to key audiences of your innovative work, the best way to do so is to participate as a delegate at a the World Technology Summit.

(CORPORATIONS) If you wish to increase the chances of exposure to key audiences for your innovative work, the best ways to do so are:

  • (a) SPONSOR one or more of the WTN's activities
  • (b) EXHIBIT your company's innovations in the CTO Showcase at the World Technology Summit
  • (c) PARTICIPATE as a delegate to the World Technology Summit
