On November 2nd and 3rd, 2006, in San Francisco, many of the most innovative people and organizations in the science and technology world came together for the seventh annual World Technology Summit and Awards -- an historic gathering to celebrate each other's accomplishments; to explore what is imminent, possible, and important in and around emerging technologies; and to create the kinds of serendipitous relationships that open up new opportunities for individuals, businesses, and, indeed, entire societies.

In addition to other delegates, the majority of Summit participants were either current WTN members (primarily winners/finalists from previous Awards cycles, now in their seventh cycle) or 2006 World Technology Award nominees. The Summit concluded with a gala ceremony for the 2006 World Technology Awards held at San Francisco City Hall.

The 2006 World Technology Summit is a truly extraordinary meeting ground of truly extraordinary people.
