THE WORLD TECHNOLOGY AWARDS

The 2009 World Technology Awards gala ceremony took place on the evening of July 16, at the culmination of the two day World Technology Summit (July 15 & 16). The Winner and short-listed finalists were announced from the stage by Ali Velshi, CNN's Chief Business Correspondent and James P. Clark, Founder/Chairman of the World Technology Network. The Winners and Finalists were, in the process, inducted into the membership of the WTN (which now comprises around 1,000 members from over 60 countries around the world).
