This year's (2017) World Technology Awards brings together the most innovative people and organizations in science and technology from around the world, exploring what is imminent, possible, and important in and around emerging technologies.

Each year The WTN inducts approximately 100 individuals and institutions as new members from the annual award finalists in twenty award categories. Ours is a diverse and prestigious fellowship that includes many of the best minds and companies in the world.

Unlike in previous years, we will be concentrating our efforts going forward on promoting online and via social media the video-interview-based stories of the extraordinarily innovative Awards winners and finalists in order to inspire and educate and catalyze the actions of tens of millions of people, rather than focusing our efforts on holding a traditional conference and awards event for a couple hundred people in person here in NYC… much as those have been wonderful gatherings over the years. The value to the Award winners and finalists will be much higher this way as we help them each promote and succeed in their particular cause.
